Go - Go in Thailand
|
|
There are Go-Go bars in most cities in Thailand, but key destinations for people enjoying this type of entertainment are Bangkok and Pattaya. In both Bangkok and Pattaya there a number of entertainment areas that are familiar with visiting tourists, | as such, they are safe places to visit. Do not stray off into uncharted territory – the well-known popular tourists' spots have regular police presence; lesser known areas may not. It is worthy to note that Thailand's "Social Order" campaigns mean that in Bangkok and Pattaya, bars can no longer stay open all night. Currently there is a 1am curfew that is strictly enforced – police will come into bars as they close and they will eject you if you are drinking after such hours. Another note of precaution: Be careful when hostesses ask you to buy them a drink – their drinks are priced differently and are often more expensive!
